A Note from Sophie Taylor: My Love for Plays and My Favorite Roles

Hi friends! Sophie here, and I just wanted to take a moment to share something that’s really special to me—my love for theater! While I don’t watch a lot of movies (I know, I know, a bit unusual), I absolutely adore plays. There’s something about the live performance, the energy, and the connection between the cast and the audience that really speaks to me.

This year, I’m excited to be a part of Grease at my high school. Playing a role in such an iconic show has been a dream come true! The songs, the characters, and the whole vibe of the production just make it such a fun experience. The rehearsals have been a blast, and I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with such a talented group of people.

Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of Anything Goes. That show was full of laughter, great music, and tap dancing, and I can honestly say it was one of my favorite theater experiences. It was my first time doing a production like that, and the whole cast was just amazing to work with.

I love how theater lets me step into different characters and stories. Each role I take on challenges me to grow as an actor and a person, and it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I’m always excited for the next performance, and I’m grateful for the chance to be a part of such a supportive and creative community at my school.
